Need a hand?

A to-do app with a personality you choose. It's a full task manager, due dates, times, recurring tasks, lists, reminders, but every task talks back, narrated by one of eight personalities, from soothing to savage. It also notices your habits (how late you are, what you keep rescheduling) and comments accordingly.

No AI, and nothing leaves your device. The personalities are hundreds of hand-written lines combined with smart rules that react to your task data. It runs entirely offline, which is also why it's completely private.

Tap the voice icon at the top-left of the Today screen and pick any of the eight voices. Your choice sticks until you change it.

Can't pick? Let Again surprise you. Daily locks in one random voice for the whole day ("who am I getting today?"). Chaos gives every line a different voice. You'll find both in the same voice menu.

If you're signed in to iCloud, your tasks sync automatically and privately across your Apple devices through Apple's iCloud, stored in your private account, which only you can access. We can't see it. If you're not signed in to iCloud, Again works fully offline and your data stays on that device. (More in our Privacy Policy.)

It's not gone. Completed tasks move to a dimmed "Done Today" group at the bottom of your Today screen (so you can see what you finished), and you can find them anytime under Library → Completed. Tap a finished task's checkmark to undo it.

When you complete a recurring task (like a daily run), Again logs that completion and advances the task to its next date, so it moves from Today to Upcoming rather than disappearing. Nothing is deleted.

No. A task is only removed if you delete it (swipe and tap Delete, or use the Delete button in a task's detail). Completing, rescheduling, and recurring all keep your data.

Reminders are local notifications. Make sure notifications are allowed: iOS Settings → Again → Notifications. Tasks need a due date (and, for a specific time, a time) to fire a reminder.

Use Quick Add, type naturally, like "gym 7am mon/tue/thu/fri" or "pay rent friday 5pm," and Again fills in the date, time, and recurrence for you. You can edit anything it gets wrong.

Delete any task or list inside the app, or delete the app to remove everything stored on that device. iCloud-synced data can be managed or removed from your device's iCloud settings.
